Welcome to Namma Bengaluru Aquarium ("NBA," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Visitor," "User," or "Guest") and Namma Bengaluru Aquarium governing your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, online ticketing platform, and physical premises located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

By purchasing a ticket, creating an account, booking an event, or physically entering our premises, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our services or visiting our facilities.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services or visit to our premises after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Our website and online services are available to users who are 18 years of age or older, or minors accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has agreed to these Terms on their behalf. By using our services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times within our premises. NBA reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any individual who cannot provide satisfactory proof of age when required.

All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, responsible, and lawful manner throughout their visit. The following conduct rules apply to all visitors without exception:

• Flash photography and videography with external lighting is strictly prohibited near all aquatic exhibits, as it causes severe distress to marine animals.
• Guests must not tap, knock on, or touch the viewing glass panels at any exhibit. This can cause significant stress and harm to the animals inside.
• Feeding animals or introducing any foreign objects into tanks or enclosures is a serious offence and may result in immediate removal and legal action.
• Loud, disruptive, or aggressive behaviour toward other visitors, staff members, or animals will not be tolerated.
• Smoking, vaping, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited within the entire premises, including outdoor areas.
• Running in exhibition halls, on ramps, or near water features is prohibited for safety reasons.
• Littering is strictly prohibited. Designated waste and recycling bins are available throughout the facility.

NBA staff members have full authority to issue warnings, relocate, or remove any guest from the premises whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these conduct rules. Removal under these circumstances does not entitle the guest to any form of compensation or refund.

All admissions to Namma Bengaluru Aquarium are governed by our Ticket Policy (Section 3.0), which forms an integral part of these Terms. Digital tickets issued upon successful payment must be presented at the entry gate and are valid only for the specified date, session, or event booked.

NBA may temporarily pause or control admission when required by an emergency, a safety instruction, or an animal-welfare incident. In those exceptional circumstances, NBA will make every reasonable effort to accommodate affected visitors at an alternative time.

The safety and well-being of our guests and animals is our highest priority. All visitors must comply with any health and safety instructions issued by NBA staff or displayed on signage throughout the facility. NBA reserves the right to implement additional health and safety measures, including but not limited to temperature checks, health declarations, or proof of vaccination, in response to public health advisories from government authorities.

Our facility is fully wheelchair accessible, with dedicated ramps, elevators, and viewing areas designed for guests with mobility requirements. Service animals are permitted within the premises in accordance with applicable law. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

All content published on the Namma Bengaluru Aquarium website and mobile applications — including but not limited to written text, photographs, illustrations, videos, audio clips, logos, trademarks, and design elements — is the exclusive intellectual property of Namma Bengaluru Aquarium or its respective licensors.

No part of our content may be reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, displayed, uploaded, modified, or used for commercial purposes without explicit prior written consent from NBA. Personal, non-commercial use of our content is permitted provided that our authorship is appropriately credited and no modifications are made. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

Photographs and videos taken by visitors during their visit are permitted for personal use only, subject to the conduct restrictions outlined in Section 1.3. Visitors may not sell, license, or use images of NBA exhibits for commercial gain without written authorisation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Namma Bengaluru Aquarium, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your visit to our premises or use of our digital services. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, personal injury (except where caused by our negligence), property damage, or any other losses.

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising from the purchase of a ticket shall not exceed the total value of the ticket(s) purchased. NBA is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings within our premises. Lockers are available near the entrance for secure storage of valuables.

You agree to indemnify and hold NBA harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct during a visit to our premises.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Karnataka, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
